Beginning stars

Cleaning up after Irma is pretty much done for me but my poor island won't be back to normal for probably another month. Yet some of the best attributes still persist. While riding my bike along the island is now more comparable to a BMX course, I can still go to the beach each night for the sunset.

I thought taking pictures of the stars would be a fun new venture. Well, if you like wearing long sleeves and pants in 90°F and 90% humidity, then night shooting is for you! If you like wondering where that gator was you last heard while avoiding zika carrying mosquitos, then night shooting is definitely for you! I don't like any of those things, apparently I love them because I keep doing it. So after I slap myself in the face for the 29th time, looking at my camera wondering if I got the stars or left the lens cap on, I go back inside to edit and realize not only do I not know how to take pictures of the Milky Way, I also don't know how to edit pictures of the Milky Way. The learning never ends.
