Sitting on the beach looking out into the distance, giant guardians stand as they have for thousands of years, watching this coastline. Coming to this place will remind you how small you are. It's a little off the beaten path but walk is worth the view. When you get the the base of the trail, the beach is first littered with driftwood twisted from the salt and the waves and then opens to an empty stretch of sand with some secret waves. The fallen trees make the perfect benches to watch the surfers prepare for the frigid waters they are about to brave. This is a place that cannot be rushed. To fully enjoy this you must bring the following: coconut coffee (or coffee of your choice), flannel, a blanket and forget the rest of the world. Spend the day getting lost in the rush of the breeze and the small thunder of the waves.
