Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving all!
I took this picture as I was pulling my board out of Tarpon Bay today. Where I live on Sanibel, there are amazing conservation efforts. Most of the island is a sanctuary and bird refuge. Tarpon Bay is not just my back yard, it's so much more than a sanctuary to me and the animals in it. I'm thankful for everything it offers me every time I visit. From the dolphins teaching their young to fish, to the manatees roaming the shallow water and the bald eagles perched atop mangroves. Don't take for granted what nature so freely gives you. Taking just a little time to pull fishing line from trees or plastic bags from roots not only improves the view, but saves the wildlife from needless harm. I am grateful to call this place home and thankful I can help take care of it.
