If you go to bowmans beach you'll notice a sign is missing. This beach used to be known for nude sun bathers. Since the island is a popular place for families to vacation they decided to put up a sign at the entrance to bowman's stating "no sun bathing." Before I cross the bridge I look for the sign and surprisingly, it's gone. That or I briefly think I made it up or it's being hidden from me. Bowman's has one of the larger public parking areas, so why am I there? To walk away from people. About a mile and a half north of that is silver key and the best part about that is the drift wood strewn out across the beach. Not only do I love the drift wood but so do the sun bathers. Why? Well this is also one of the few places you can retreat to the sea grapes for cover. Besides, I'm walking down here for the same reason they are, to get away from everyone. I set up, take a few pics and watch the dolphins. I really need to invest in a remote, this pushing the button and running somewhere in 10 seconds isn't getting easier. Another month of this I bet my 40 will be better than anyone in the first round draft pick.
